The death of Elisha the prophet
And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year. And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.-2 Kings 13:20-21***Less than 33 1/2 years after Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested and crucified. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that some dead saints rose from their tombs, entered Jerusalem and were noticed by Jerusalem's inhabitants. Elisha was an Israelite and a prophet of the Lord God, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Over 750 years before Jesus was crucified, and his body was prepared for burial and buried in a tomb, and Jesus was resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven, Elisha became sick and died, and his body was placed in a tomb. When another man's dead body was thrown into the same tomb and touched Elisha's bones, the corpse revived and arose.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-13:25, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
