Relatively Speaking

The Tribe of Judah:

The sons of Judah; Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal. And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites. And these were of the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi: And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Bethlehem. And Ashur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah. And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah. And the sons of Helah were, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and maidservants Bilhah. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and maidservants ZilpahJoseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and his 2nd wife RachelJacob and his older fraternal twin brother Esau (Edom) were the only children born to Isaac and Rebekah. Isaac was the only child born Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai). Ishmael was the only child born to Abraham and maidservant HagarZimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah were born to Abraham and Keturah,  Abraham's 2nd wife. Er, Onan and Shelah were born to Judah and his wife, a Canaanite woman. Pharez and Zarah (Perez and Zerah) were born to Judah and Tamar, the widow of Er and Onan. Boaz, the descendant of Pharez, became the husband of Ruth. Boaz and Ruth's son was Obed, Obed's son was Jesse, and Jesse's 8th born son was David. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. When David was 37 1/2 years old, he became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
