From a letter written by the apostle Paul,
with Silvanus (Silas) and Timotheus (Timothy),
to believers in Thessalonica:
with Silvanus (Silas) and Timotheus (Timothy),
to believers in Thessalonica:
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.-2 Thessalonians 3:1-5***Paul (Saul) was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Sometime after Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven, Paul and those with them saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus and obeyed Jesus. The men journeying with Paul led Paul to Damascus. In Damascus, Paul was baptized, and was in the home of Judas, and in the home of Ananias, and among a group of disciples. Afterwards, Paul the apostle went to Arabia, and went to Damascus and Jerusalem. In a multitude of places, amid various circumstances and environments, Paul proclaimed the good news of Jesus the Christ to Israelites and Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes. Moreover, Paul wrote divinely inspired letters about the everlasting life available only in Jesus, and the daily life to be lived in Jesus, who will return one day with the holy angels.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, 9:35-44, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-31, 11:19-28:31, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon
