I Wishes You'd Take a Bit of Me Riches

And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids. And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost. And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother. And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept. And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, the children which God hath graciously given thy servant. Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves. And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves. And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? and he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord. And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou was pleased with me.-Genesis 33:1-10***When Moses and his older brother Aaron led their fellow Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, the Israelites carried such an amount of valuable goods with them that they were able to give an abundant offering months thereafter in the desert wilderness of Sinai. With the goods offered, the Israelites were able to make the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the mercy seat, and the table for the showbread, and the lampstand, the tabernacle, the tabernacle courtyard, the altar of burnt offering, the altar of incense, the garments for the priests, and the other sacred items that the Lord God described and showed to Moses. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Israelites had and made so much that Bezaleel and the other skilled craftsmen spoke to Moses and made a request. Over 400 years earlier, when Jacob (Israel) left the home of his parents Isaac and Rebekah and brother Esau (Edom) in Canaan, after Rebekah and Jacob's deceptions, Jacob left with only the clothes he was wearing and the staff in his hand. Before Jacob began the return journey to Canaan 20 years after the deception, Jacob was wealthy, married to Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel, and the father of 11 sons and a daughter. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and Rachel. Approximately 1,900 years after Benjamin was born near Bethlehem to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem, into the tribe of Judah, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:55, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid. Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send. Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal. And now this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.-1 Samuel 25:23-27***King Saul was the 1st king to rule over the Israelites in the Promised Land. Saul disobeyed the commands of the Lord God. While Saul reigned, the Lord God sent Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge, to anoint David to reign as king. Sometime thereafter, David began working as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul. After David killed and beheaded Goliath the gigantic Philistine, Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant with David. The Israelite women sang of David in a song higher than they sang of Saul, and Saul was angry. Saul became afraid of David, and tried to kill David, and commanded others, including Jonathan, to kill David. Moreover, Saul tried to get David killed through the actions required for David to marry Michal, Saul's daughter. Michal helped David escape from their home, and David lived on the run from Saul. David and the men who joined him stayed in the forest, the wilderness, and in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah, the tribe of David's birth. While in Judah's territory, David and his men were cautious for their lives and the lives of the sheep and shepherds nearby. When David was in need and seeking reciprocation, he sent 10 of his men to speak to Nabal, who had unknowingly benefited from the presence of David and his men. However, Nabal spoke disrespectfully and scorned their request. Nabal's wife Abigail moved to rectify the situation and hurried to present David with bread, wine, corn, raisins, fig cakes, and sheep meat. When Abigail described her activities to Nabal, Nabal's heart died and Nabal became like a stone. Approximately 10 days thereafter, the Lord God struck Nabal and Nabal died. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that David married Abigail. After Jonathan and his brothers Abinadab and Malchishua were killed by the Philistines, and Saul's self-inflicted death on the same battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed David, and 30-year-old David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) reigned over the other Israelite tribes. Sometime after Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders went to David and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed David, and 37 1/2-year-old David began to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 15:1-63, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
