Let Us Go for Awhile or So

And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. And they departed into a desert place by ship privately. And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him. And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.-Mark 6:30-34***On the 8th day after Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary, a virgin, and her husband Joseph after being conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin, Jesus was circumcised. During the 12th year after Jesus was born, Joseph and Mary found Jesus in Jerusalem, in the temple of the Lord, listening, questioning, understanding, and answering. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told  specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew (Levi), Thomas (Didymus), James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Cananaean the Zealot, Lebbaeus (Judas?) Thaddaeus, and Judas Iscariot were the 12 disciples Jesus named apostles. Jesus sent the 12 disciples and apostles to proclaim the nearness of the kingdom of heaven to the lost sheep among the Israelites, the descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Jesus gave the 12 disciples and apostles authority to cast out unclean spirits, and heal, and Jesus told the 12 that he was sending them as sheep in the midst of wolves. After the 12 disciples and apostles returned, Jesus sent at least 70 other followers on a similar mission.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
