...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Which One

And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.-Mark 11:27-33***Over 1,500 years before John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and Elizabeth (Elisabeth), Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi to Amram and Jochebed. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, they led their fellow Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. Throughout the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, the Lord God went before Moses, Aaron and the other Israelites in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and sea. Months after John the Baptist was born, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the  tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Before and after John the Baptist baptized Jesus, John the Baptist was baptizing sin confessors with water unto repentance, and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins. Moreover, John the Baptist taught that he was from the earth and Jesus from heaven and is above all. Jesus taught that he came down from heaven to do the will of his Father in heaven, the Lord God who sent him. Herod Antipas the tetrarch, ruler of Judea for the Roman Empire, imprisoned John the Baptist and John the Baptist was beheaded. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 1:1-4:26, 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
