The One Specific Place

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying, What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp, And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people: To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD. And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD. And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations. And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice, And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.-Leviticus 17:1-9***In the desert wilderness of Sinai, months after Moses and his older brother Aaron led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them. The Israelites became fearful and went to stand in a separate area. The tribal leaders and elders told Moses to listen to the Lord God and speak the words of the Lord God to them. The Lord God agreed with the request and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites, the descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Issac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). When Moses was on Mount Sinai with the Lord God for 40 days and nights, the Lord God described and showed to Moses the details for making the transportable tabernacle, and all of its sacred items, and the items for the priests. The Lord God commanded that only Aaron and Aaron's sons and the sons born to their descendants were to serve the Lord God as priests. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 1,200 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Zechariah (Zacharias) and Elizabeth (Elisabeth) were born into the tribe of Jacob's 3rd born son Levi, the birth tribe of Aaron and Moses. When Zechariah and Elizabeth were elderly, their only child, John the Baptist, was physically conceived in Elizabeth's womb. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that months thereafter, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elisabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.
