...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Notably, Romans 15:4 reveals: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.(KJV) In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

A Certain Someone

The Words of
Jesus the Christ
the Son of God:

Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said, among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner; this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. And when the chief priests and Pharisees had hear his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.-Matthew 21:33-46***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the angel Gabriel spoke to Mary, a virgin, and identified Jesus as the Son of the Most High, and told Mary that Jesus would be conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin. An angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph, the craftsman to whom Mary was pledged to wed, and explained the divine conception of Jesus that took place in Mary's womb. An angel of the Lord spoke to a group of shepherds and identified Jesus to be a Savior, Christ the Lord. Through divine revelation of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was identified to Simeon to be the Christ of the Lord. The Lord God, the Creator of the heavens and earth, audibly acknowledged his beloved Son Jesus. Mary's relative John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God, the Son of God. Andrew, a disciple of John the Baptist, identified Jesus as the Messiah, the Christ, and Andrew became a disciple and an apostle of Jesus. Andrew's brother Simon Peter was a disciple and apostle of Jesus. Simon Peter identified Jesus as the Christ of God, the Son of the living God. Some Israelites identified Jesus as a great prophet, and other Israelites identified Jesus as the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. During the era after Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, and returned to heaven, Jesus was identified as the spiritual rock, and a great high priest, and the author and finisher of our faith.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 1 Corinthians 10:1-33, Hebrews 4:1-16, 12:1-29
