...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Sounds Like a Plan

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her. And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing to her. But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man. And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king's son, lean from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister. And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand. So Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.-2 Samuel 13:1-6***Tamar and Absalom were born to King David and Maacah. David was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. Maacah was a princess from Geshur, Syria (Aram). Amnon was born to David and Ahinoam. Ahinoam was from Jezreel, in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah, the birth tribe of David and his descendants. Amnon and Absalom were born during the 7 1/2 years that David reigned as king in Hebron only over the tribe of Judah. Amnon raped Tamar when David was reigning over all of the Israelites. Two years after the attack, Absalom's men obeyed Absalom and killed Amnon. Absalom ran to Geshur and was there for 3 years before being peacefully brought back to the kingdom by his cousin Joab, commander of the army. Over 800 years earlier, Judah was born to Jacob (Israel) and Leah. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Er, Onan and Shelah were born to Judah and his wife, a Canaanite woman. Meanwhile, Tamar was born and lived in Timnah (Timnath). Er became Tamar's 1st husband. After the Lord God caused Er to die, Onan married Tamar. After the Lord God caused Onan to die, Judah told Tamar to live as a widow at her father's house until Shelah was an adult. The custom during that era meant that Shelah would marry Tamar. Unknowingly, Judah engaged in intimacy with Tamar, and twin sons Pharez and Zarah (Perez and Zerah) were born to Judah and Tamar. Over 900 years after Absalom's 3 sons and daughter Tamar were born, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-2:12, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
