Spear Clear

Abishai and Benaiah

And Abishai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the three; for lifting up his spear against three hundred, he slew them, and had a name among the three. Of the three, he was more honourable than the two; for he was their captain: howbeit he attained not to the first three. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day. And he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high; and in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam; and he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear. These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among the three mighties. Behold, he was honourable among the thirty, but attained not to the first three: and David set him over his guard.-1 Chronicles 11:20-25***David was born to Jesse, and Jesse was born to Obed, and Obed was born to Boaz and Ruth. Boaz was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Ruth was a Moabite descended from Abraham and Sarah's nephew Lot and Lot's oldest daughter, and the son, Moab, born to Lot and his daughter. Abishai, Joab and Asahel were born to David's sister Zeruiah. Benaiah was born to Jehoiada. Over a decade after David was born, Samuel the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, anointed David to reign as king according to the command of the Lord God. Years earlier, Samuel anointed Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, to reign as king, according to the command of the Lord God. Benjamin was the 2nd and last son born to Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel. At least twice, Saul did not obey the commands of the Lord God. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God rejected Saul from reigning, and the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and the Spirit of the Lord was with David. Sometime after being anointed, David began serving as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul. After David killed and beheaded Goliath the gigantic Philistine, David and Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant. The Israelite woman sang of David higher than they sang of Saul, and Saul was angry. Saul wanted to kill David, and sent David on missions to get killed, and commanded others, including Jonathan, to kill David. Saul's daughter Michal was married to David, and helped David escape from their home. Abishai, Joab and Asahel were with David during the years David lived on the run from Saul. Meanwhile, Saul arranged for Michal to become the wife of Palti (Paltiel/Phalti/Phaltiel), and David took his mother and Jesse to live under the care of the Moabite king. At the Adullam cave, approximately 400 distressed, discontented, and indebted men joined David. Before David and the men with him went to battle the Philistines in Keilah, the men told David that they were afraid. David and his men defeated the Philistines, according to the will of the Lord God, and warriors continually joined David, and David and his men became known as mighty warriors. When David, and his wives Abigail and Ahinoam, and David's men and their families were living in Ziklag, the city that Philistine King Achish gave David, warriors from the tribe of Benjamin joined David. After the Philistines killed Jonathan and his brothers Malchishua and Abinadab (Ishui?), and Saul's self-inflicted death on the same battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed 30-year-old David, and David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's relative and army commander Abner set Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) as king over the other Israelite tribes. Sometime after Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders went to David and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed 37-year-old David, and David became the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. After the disagreement between Abner and Ishbosheth, Abner wanted to join David, and David required that Michal be brought to him. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and his wife Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites, and 70-year-old David died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 26:1-27:23, Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra 1:1-11, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite.
