-1 Chronicles 27:5-6***Several prominent men named Benaiah are mentioned in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible. Benaiah from Kabzeel was commander of the military unit during the 3rd month of each year throughout the reign of King David. David was the 2nd king to rule over all
 of the Israelites in the Promised Land. Kabzeel was in the portion of the Promised Land allotted to the tribe of Judah, David's birth tribe. Benaiah from Kabzeel was in charge of David's team of bodyguards, and was among David's 30 most mighty warriors, and killed 2 enemy Moabite warriors, and a gigantic Egyptian fighter, and a lion. Moreover, Benaiah from Kabzeel remained loyal to David and David's son and successor King Solomon when Adonijah, the son born to David and Haggith, tried to proclaim himself king while David reigned. Over 900 years after Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the land that there Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
