Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Every Single One

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one in Solomon's porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.-Acts 5:12-16***Solomon and Simon Peter were Israelites, descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Over 900 years before Simon Peter was born, Solomon was born into the tribe of Judah to King David and Bathsheba. Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob and Leah, Solomon was the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, and David was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. Canaan, the Promised Land, was the land inhabited by idolaters that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Before 70-year-old year David died, Solomon became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. In Jerusalem, the royal city, Solomon built the temple of the Lord and other buildings, and a porch that was put in front of the temple. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Rehoboam became the 1st king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to rule the northern nation of Israel. Less than 200 years after Jeroboam's son Nadab became the 2nd king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians  invaded the kingdom, and began taking Israelites to Assyria, and conquered the royal city, Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Less than 140 years after Samaria was conquered, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israleites. Before the Babylonians took more Israelites to Babylon, they looted and burned the temple, and burned other buildings. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, and built a new smaller temple, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men, including Simon Peter and his fishing partner John, to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Simon Peter and his brother Andrew, and John and his brother James became disciples of Jesus the Christ, and they were 4 of the 12 apostles Jesus sent on a divine mission among the Israelites.  Notably, Simon Peter, James and John were with Jesus when Jesus took the hand of the dead daughter of Jairus and commanded the daughter to arise. Sometime thereafter, during the annual Feast of Dedication (Festival of Lights/Hanukkah), Jesus was walking in the temple in the porch of Solomon, and answered some Israelites, and the Israelites got ready to stone Jesus. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by the disciple and apostle Judas Iscariot. Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, including his disciples and apostles, and returned to heaven. Sometime thereafter, when Simon Peter and John were about to enter the temple, a man who was lame spoke to Simon Peter and John, and Simon Peter commanded the man to rise and walk. When the man walked and the crowd recognized the man, the Israelites ran towards Solomon's porch and Simon Peter spoke to the crowd. After the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees put Simon Peter and John in custody, and gave them a  command, and released them, more signs and wonders occurred.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 13:1-14:45, Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts
