Seems to Me

I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?-Ecclesiastes 3:17-22***The divinely inspired  writer of the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Holy Bible identified himself as the son of King David. David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah in the Promised Land. When David was 37 1/2 years old, he became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Isralites. The Ecclesiastes writer also identified himself as a preacher, a teacher, an organizer of proverbs, and a wise king in Jerusalem. Solomon was the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba. When David was approximately 70 years old, he identified Solomon as his successor, and Solomon became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Solomon reigned in Jerusalem, and the Lord God gave Solomon the greatest wealth, wisdom, insight, and judgment of any reigning ruler, and Solomon was known for his skills regarding proverbs, songs and biology. Thus, the writings in the Book of Ecclesiastes are widely attributed to Solomon. Over 900 years after Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, became the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
