The Words of 

Jesus the Christ,

the Son of God:

And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. So he called every one of his lord's debtor's unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.-Luke 16:1-13***Elijah the prophet was serving the Lord God during the reign of King Ahab, the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land, and during the reign of Ahab's son Ahaziah, the 8th king to reign. Elijah challenged his fellow Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Moreover, Elijah put a group of false prophets to death. Ahab's wife Jezebel wanted to kill Elijah, and Elijah fled to Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. Over 40 days after Elijah arrived at Mount Horeb, the mountain of God,  Elijah anointed Elisha to serve as a prophet, according to the commands of the Lord God. Elisha left his family and served Elijah and learned from Elijah. At the Jordan River, Elijah and Elisha were separated by a chariot of fire pulled by horses of fire. Elijah went up into heaven by a whirlwind, and Elisha continued serving the Lord God and the Israelites. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal an incident that involved Elisha's bones. Gehazi served Elisha and was a witness to the glory of the Lord. However, Gehazi was not divinely focused, and Gehazi's lies and greed for silver and goods brought Gehazi to a leprous end. Over 800 years after Ahab and Jezebel's son Jehoram (Joram) became the 8th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist, from the tribe of Levi. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Jesus spoke to his disciples and other listeners about the relationship between wealth, responsibility and foresight.
