...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. The Lord God Himself

Psalm 90 consists of 17 verses,
verses 1-12 are given below:

LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our heart unto wisdom.-Psalm 90:1-12***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground. The Lord God made Adam's wife Eve, the mother of all living, after taking a part out of Adam. Adam lived 930 years. Adam and Eve's great-great-great-great-great-grandson Methuselah lived 969 years. Methuselah's grandson was Noah the ark builder. After the Lord God brought a flood upon the earth, Noah, his wife, their 3 sons, and each son's wife were the only people living upon the earth. Noah lived 950 years, 350 of which were lived after the flood. Noah's son Shem lived 600 years. Shem's son Arphaxad lived 438 years. Arphaxad's great-great-great-great-great-grandson Terah lived 205 years. Terah's son Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) lived 175 years, and Terah's daughter Sarah (Sarai) lived 127 years. Abraham and Sarah's son Isaac lived 180 years. Jacob (Israel) was the youngest fraternal twin son born to Isaac and Rebekah. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt and his body was buried in Canaan, the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Aaron and his brother Moses were born into the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Pharaoh told Moses and Aaron to get the Israelites and their animals from among the Egyptians and go serve the Lord God. Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and 120-year-old Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Sometime before Moses died, he revealed in a psalm the condition and brevity of human life.  Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and his body was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Over 300  David, from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. When David was 70 years old, he died and his body was buried in the City of David. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-grandson Joash (Jehoash) was the 7th king to rule Judah. Before Joash began to reign, Jehoiada the priest helped protect Joash. Jehoiada introduced Joash as Judah's rightful ruler and taught Joash to obey the commands of the Lord God. Jehoiada lived 130 years and Joash lived 47 years. Over 700 years after Amaziah, the son born to Joash and Jehoaddan, became the 8th king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Less than 33 1/2 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by many people, and returned to heaven.-Genesis 1:1-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, 33:1-56, Deuteronomy 1:1-46, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Psalm 90, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 2 Peter 2:1-3:18
