...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Anyone, Anyone

And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened  unto your voice in all tha tye said unto me and have made a king over you. And now, behold, the king walked before yoy: and I am old and brayheaded and, behold, my sons are with you and I have walked befor eyou from my childhood unto this day. Behld, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and behefore his anointed: whose ox have I taken whose as shave I taken or whom have i defrauded whom have I oppressed or of whose hand have I received any biribe to blind mine yeds therwith? and I will restore it you. And they said, Uhous hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither has the takenoutfh of any mand's hand. and he said unto the, the lor dis witness agains tyou, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. atnd they answered he is witness.-1 Samuel 12:1=-5***Hannah was the favorite wife of Elkanah, an Israelite from the tribe of Levi. When Hannah was barren and praying to the Lord God, Hannah dedicated the son, Samuel, to the Lord God. After Eli the priest  spoke to Hannah regarding Samuel's birth, and Samuel was born and subsequently weaned, Hannah fulfilled her vow to the Lord God and took Samuel to the tabernacle complex in Shiloh to live. Samuel learned to worship and obey the Lord God and learned the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws that the Lord God gave for the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Samuel was a priest, prophet and judge. When Samuel was elderly, and his sons Joel and Abiah (Vashni and Abijah) were not obeying the commands of the Lord God, and King Nahash and his fellow Ammonites were preparing to attack, the Israelite elders demanded that Samuel appoint a king to lead them. Samuel prayed to the Lord God, and proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, and anointed Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, to reign as the 1st king over the Israelites in the Promised Land, according to the command of the Lord God. When the Israelites were gathered in Gilgal with Samuel and Saul, the Israelites confirmed their respect for Samuel. While reigning, Saul disobeyed the commands of the Lord God.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 18:1-28, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 8:1-40, 9:35-10:14, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders. And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him. And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me. If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us. And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.-1 Samuel 17:4-10***The Israelites and Philistines descended from Adam and Eve, their son Seth, Seth's great-great-great-grandson Enoch, and Enoch's great-grandson Noah the ark  builder. Noah's son Shem was the forefather of the Israelites, and Noah's son Ham was the forefather of the Philistines. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and the Lord God made Adam's wife Eve, the mother of all living, after taking a part out of Adam. The Israelites worshiped the Lord God. When the Israelites were in the desert wilderness of Sinai, the Lord God made a covenant with the Israelites. The Philistines worshiped idols and were enemies of the Israelites.  Goliath was a gigantic Philistine fighting champion. David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Shem's son Arphaxad, Arphaxad's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), their son Isaac and his wife Rebekah, Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. King Saul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Saul was the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. After Saul disobeyed the commands of the Lord God, the Lord God sent Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, to anoint David to reign as king. Sometime thereafter, while David continued working as a shepherd for his father Jesse, David began serving as a musician and an armor-bearer for Saul. After David killed and beheaded Goliath, David remained with Saul full-time. Jonathan, Saul's son, made a covenant with David. The Israelite women sang of David higher than they sang of Saul, and Saul was angry. Saul became afraid of David, and wanted to kill David, and sent David to get killed in the field, and commanded others, including Jonathan, to kill David. Saul's daughter Michal married David and helped David escape from their home. After Jonathan and his brothers Abinadab and Malchishua were killed by the Philistines, and Saul's self-inflicted death on the same battlefield, men from the tribe of Judah anointed David, and 30-year-old David began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. Saul's son Ishbosheth (Eshbaal) reigned over the other Israelite tribes. Sometime after Ishbosheth was murdered, the Israelite elders went to David and David made a covenant with them. The elders anointed David, and 37 1/2-year-old David began to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
