They Said That Jesus Said

Jesus the Christ,
 the Son of God,
and his disciples

And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethpage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither. And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him. And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
-Mark 11:1-6***Over 700 years after Judah was born to Jacob (Israel) and Leah, Obed was born to Boaz and Ruth, and Jesse was born to Obed, and David was born to Jesse. Over a decade after David was born, he was anointed by Samuel, the priest, prophet and judge to reign as king over the Israelites in the Promised Land, according to the command of the Lord God. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. When David was 37 1/2 years old, he became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Over 900 years after 70-year-old David died, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. After other disciples stopped following Jesus, 12 disciples remained with Jesus. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a specific donkey that he sent 2 of his disciples to fetch. Moreover, Judas Iscariot, the disciple and apostle, arranged to betray Jesus to the chief priests and temple guard leaders for 30 pieces of silver. When Jesus, Judas Iscariot and the 11 disciples were at the table during the Last Supper, Judas Iscariot left to lead the armed group to Jesus. After Jesus was arrested, the 11 disciples ran away.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
