...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Don't Say "Hi" and Don't Say "Bye"

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking HJ back, is fit for the kingdom of God.-Luke 9:57-62***Several of the Israelites Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, told to follow him were performing other work when Jesus spoke to them. Andrew was a fisherman and a disciple of John the Baptist. Andrew told his brother Simon Peter that John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God. When Jesus told Simon Peter and Andrew to be fishers of men, they stopped fishing in the water and started following Jesus the Christ. When Jesus told Simon Peter's fishing partners James and John to follow him, James and John left their father Zebedee and their fishing business and followed Jesus. When Matthew (Levi) was on duty collecting taxes and tolls for the Roman Empire, Jesus told Matthew to follow him, and Matthew arose and followed Jesus the Christ. Before Jesus told the Israelite men to follow him, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and Jesus went to Galilee. Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Over 30 years before Jesus was baptized, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the Israelite tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
