So Sorry

And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it. And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine. And Ahab said to Elijah, hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee; because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD. Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin. And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat. But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up. And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly. And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.-1 Kings 21:17-29***Baasha was an Israelite from the tribe of Issachar. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that after Baasha killed King Nadab, the 2nd king to rule the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land, Baasha killed Nadab's family members and ruled the northern nation for 24 years. After Baasha died, his son Elah reigned for 2 years before he was killed by Zimri, a chariot captain. Zimri killed the family and friends of Baasha and became the 5th king to rule the northern nation of Israel. Zimri reigned for 7 days before the Israelites made military captain Omri their king. Zimri set fire to the palace, remained inside and died. Afterwards, half of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel recognized Omri as their king and the other half recognized Tibni as king. Omri's support was stronger, Tibni died, and Omri ruled the northern nation of Israel for 12 years. Omri's son Ahab was the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the the northern nation of Israel. Ahab and the kings who ruled before him in the northern nation, including Nadab's father King Jeroboam, the 1st king to rule the northern nation, were idol worshipers. Ahab's wife Jezebel was an idol worshiping princess from Sidon (Zidon). During Ahab's reign, Jezebel was responsible for putting many prophets of the Lord God to death. Sometime thereafter, Elijah the prophet was responsible for putting Jezebel's false prophets to death. Thus, Jezebel was determined to have Elijah killed. Elijah ran to Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land, and went to Mount Horeb, the mountain of God. Upon Mount Horeb, Elijah was in the presence of the Lord God, and the Lord God spoke to Elijah. Elijah spoke to the Lord God and returned to the northern nation of Israel. Meanwhile, Ahab wanted the vineyard that belonged to Naboth and tried to make a deal with Naboth. Ahab's sullen state after Naboth refused to accept a deal prompted Jezebel to devise a plan that resulted in Naboth's death, and possibly the deaths of Naboth's sons. Ahab and Jezebel's son Ahaziah was the 8th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Over 800 years after Ahab and Jezebel's son Joram (Jehoram) became the 9th king to reign, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Throughout the regions, Jesus spoke of repentance, sackcloth and ashes.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus 25:1-55, Numbers 13:1-14:45, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, 36:1-13, Deuteronomy 31:1-33:12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Ezekiel 46:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
