The Lord God Himself

Psalm 99

The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved. The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy. The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them. Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.-Psalm 99:1-9/the complete psalm***Moses and his older siblings Miriam and Aaron were Israelites from the tribe of Levi, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob did not know the specific name that the Lord God revealed to 80-year-old Moses when Moses was at the area of Mount Horeb (Sinai), the mountain of God. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Egypt and Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, Moses and 83-year-old Aaron led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. During the 40-year journey to the Promised Land, Miriam died and was buried in Kadesh in the desert wilderness of Zin, and 123-year-old Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor. When 120-year-old Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, was from the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, and Joseph and Asenath's 2nd born son Ephraim, whom Jacob proclaimed to be his own son. Joshua led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. After Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, the Israelites were led by elders, judges or their own minds. When Samuel the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi was elderly, the Israelites demanded that he set a king over them. Samuel prayed to the Lord God, obeyed the Lord God, proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, spoke to the Lord God, and anointed Saul to reign as king, according to the commands of the Lord God. Saul was from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Over 1,000 years after Samuel died and was buried in Ramah, his hometown, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-25:1, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Psalm 99, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
