Psalm 15

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.-Psalm 15:1-5/the complete psalm***David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah. Over a decade after David was born, Samuel the priest, prophet and judge from the tribe of Levi, anointed David to reign as king over the Israelites in the Promised Land. When David was 30 years old, he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah. When David was 37 1/2 years old, he became the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Psalm 15 is widely acknowledged to have been written by David. The psalm reveals that people who shall never be moved from the tabernacle and holy hill of the Lord God are those who fulfill every vow personally spoken, even if fulfilling a particular vow hurts or offers no benefit to the person who spoke the vow. Jephthah the Gileadite was an Israelite from the tribe of Manasseh, descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, their firstborn son Joseph and his wife Asenath, Joseph and Asenath's firstborn son Manasseh, Manasseh's son Machir, and Machir's son Gilead. Saul was from the tribe of Jacob and Rachel's 2nd and last son Benjamin. Before Saul became the 1st king to reign over the Israelites in the Promised Land, the Israelites were under the leadership of judges. When Jephthah was preparing to battle the Ammonites, Jephthah proclaimed a vow to the Lord God. Afterwards, Jephthah discovered that the vow involved his daughter, his only child. Over 900 years after Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus 19:1-37, 25:1-55, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, 30:1-16, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, 9:35-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Psalm 24, Psalm 66, Ecclesiastes 5:1-20, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
