And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king. And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them and brought the spoil to Samaria. But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven. And now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God? Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you.-2 Chronicles 28:7-11***King Ahaz was an idol worshiper, and Ahaz's great-grandfather King Amaziah, and Amaziah's father King Joash (Jehoash), and Joash's father King Ahaziah, and Ahaziah's mother Athaliah, and Ahaziah's father King Joram (Jehoram), and Joram's great-grandfather King Abijam (Abijah), and Abijam's father King Rehoboam were idol worshipers. Ahaz was the 11th king, Amaziah was the 8th king, Joash was the 7th king, Ahaziah was the 6th king, Joram was the 5th king, Abijam was the 2nd, and Rehoboam was the 1st king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Ahaz and the Israelites in Judah were defeated by the Syrians (Arameans) and King Pekah, the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, according to the will of the Lord God. Before Pekah completely enslaved his fellow Israelites, Oded, a prophet of the Lord God, revealed a message from the Lord God. King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, invaded the northern nation of Israel during Pekah's 20-year reign and began taking Israelites captive. During the 9th year of the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation of Israel, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Less than 125 years after Samaria was conquered, Ahaz's great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) became the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem, the royal city, and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in he womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to
Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Isaiah 1:1-31, 7:1-25, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
