No One at All

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon: he answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mischael, and Azariah, his companions: that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret, that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: and he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: he revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.-Daniel 2:10-24***When Canaan was inhabited by idol worshipers, the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and his descendants. When Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born to Abraham and his 90-year-old wife Sarah (Sarai). Over 2 decades thereafter, the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Isaac and his descendants. When Isaac was 40 years old, he married Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. When Isaac was 60 years old, fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to Isaac and Rebekah. Decades thereafter, the Lord God promised to give Canaan to Jacob and his descendants. Seven years after Jacob heard the Lord God speak to him, Jacob married Rebekah's nieces Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian.  Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph and Benjamin were born to Jacob and Rachel. Joseph was Jacob's favorite. When Joseph was at least 17 years old, his brothers plotted and sold Joseph to merchants traveling to Egypt. However, Joseph's brothers led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by a wild animal. In Egypt, the merchants sold Joseph to Potiphar, an Egyptian official. After Potiphar saw all of the blessings that came amid Joseph's presence in his home, Potiphar placed the management of his household into Joseph's hands. After Potiphar's wife made a false accusation, Potiphar put Joseph in the king's prison, and Joseph became a steward over the other prisoners. At least 2 years after Joseph explained the meaning of a dream to the imprisoned cupbearer and the imprisoned butler who served Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, Joseph explained the meaning of 2 dreams to Pharaoh, and Pharaoh proclaimed Joseph to be second-in-command in Egypt. After Joseph's brothers were in Egypt for a 2nd time during a famine, Joseph identified himself and told them to move with their families, including Jacob, to Egypt. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt and his body was buried in Canaan, and Joseph and his siblings were dead, Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Aaron and his brother Moses were from the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, they led the Israelites away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Over 300 years after Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, became the 1st king to rule over the Israelites. David, from the tribe of Judah, was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd son born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign over all of the Israelites. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to reign. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Daniel (Belteshazzar), Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego), to Babylon. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Meanwhile, Daniel explained the meaning of a dream to Nebuchadnezzar, and Nebuchadnezzar gave Daniel gifts and promoted Daniel. Sometime thereafter, Daniel explained the meaning of another dream to Nebuchadnezzar. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
