Jesus the Christ, the Son of God,
and mourners in Nain
And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen among us; and, That God hath visited his people.-Luke 7:11-16***Over 4,000 years before John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born, the Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and the Lord God made Adam's wife Eve, the mother of all living, after taking a part out of Adam. Seth was born to Adam and Eve. Enoch was Seth's great-great-great-grandson. Noah the ark builder was Enoch's great-grandson. Shem was born to Noah, and Arphaxad was born to Shem. Arphaxad was the great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of Terah. Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai) were born to Terah. Isaac was born to 100-year-old Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he was married to Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. Fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to 60-year-old Isaac and Rebekah. In Padan Aram, Haran, Jacob was married to Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian (Aram). Levi was the 3rd son born to Jacob and Leah, and Judah was Jacob and Leah's 4th born son. Approximately 1,900 years after Benjamin was born near Bethlehem to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth). Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Some Israelites began to recognize the identity of Jesus. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, and Jesus is the spiritual rock. Over 1,500 years before John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, they led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, according to the commands of the Lord God. The spiritual rock followed the Israelites during their 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land. Jesus is judge of the living and dead, and Jesus is an advocate, and mediator, and Prophet, and author of eternal salvation, and founder and perfecter of faith. Jesus is the Word, the Alpha and the Omega, the Lamb of God, the Messiah. Jesus is the bread of life, the light of the world, the true vine, the good shepherd and the door. Jesus is the Chief Shepherd, the Shepherd and Overseer, the Righteous One, and the resurrection and the life. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, the apostle and high priest, a great high priest, and Savior, and Jesus is Lord. Jesus is the Lord of glory. Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, is the King of kings and Lord of lords.-Genesis 1:1-4:26, 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 6:1-8:4, 9:1-10:48, 1 Corinthians 2:1-16, 10:1-33, Philippians 2:1-30, Colossians 1:1-29, 1 Timothy 2:1-15, 6:1-21, Hebrews 4:1-16, 12:1-29, 1 Peter 2:1-25, 5:1-14, 1 John 1:1-2:29, Revelation 1:1-20, 17:1-18, 22:1-21
