...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Romans 15:4 (KJV) reveals: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

Sing Praises

Psalm 108 consists of 13 verses,
verses 1-6 are given below:

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
-Psalm 108:1-6

The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that:

-Moses was 80 years old and his brother Aaron was 83 when they led their fellow Israelites away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and Moses and the Israelites sang that the right hand of the Lord God is glorious in power, and has dashed in pieces the enemy, and that the Lord God stretched out his right hand.

-Before Moses went upon Mount Nebo, and the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died, and was divinely buried, Moses blessed the Israelites, the descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and revealed that from the right hand of the Lord God went a fiery law for the Israelites.

-Micaiah,prophet of the Lord God, was an Israelite who saw, in a divine vision, all the host of heaven standing by on the right hand of the Lord God and on the left hand of the Lord God.

-King David was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah and their 4th born son Judah. David was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God Promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Moreover, David was a psalmist, and revealed that at the right hand of the Lord God are pleasures for evermore, and the Lord God saves by his right hand the people who trust in him from those who rise up against them, and David revealed that the right hand of the Lord God upheld him, and the right hand of the Lord God will find those who hate the Lord God. David wrote about the saving strength of the right hand of the Lord God, and asked the Lord God to save him with the right hand of the Lord God, and David knew that the right hand of the Lord God would save him and the right hand of the Lord God would hold him.

-the Israelites gained possession of Canaan, the Promised Land, by the arm, and the light of the face, and the right hand of the Lord God.

-the right hand of the Lord God teaches awesome things.

-the right hand of the Lord God is full of righteousness.

-the right hand of the Lord God is exalted, and the right hand of the Lord God does valiantly.

-the right hand of the Lord God and the holy arm of the Lord God have gained the Lord God the victory.

-Isaiah was an Israelite and a prophet of the Lord God. The Lord God revealed to Isaiah that the Lord God upholds with the right hand of his righteousness, and the right hand of the Lord God has stretched out the heavens, and the Lord God has sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength.

-At least 700 years after Isaiah proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi, the birth tribe of Aaron and Moses, to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth). Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of his Father, the Lord God in heaven.

-the disciple and apostle Simon Peter revealed that the Lord God exalted Jesus to his right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

-the apostle Paul (Saul) revealed that Christ Jesus is at the right hand of the Lord God and is interceding for us.

-when Jesus shall come in his glory to earth, and all the holy angels with him, Jesus will sit upon the throne of his glory and Jesus will set the sheep, the righteous, on his right hand and the goats on his left, and tell the righteous on his right hand to come inherit the kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world.
