Blessed Dressed List

Now the queen by reason of the words of the king and his lords came into the banquet house: and the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed: there is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry? I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee. And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing: And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.-Daniel 5:10-16***King Manasseh was the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson of King Rehoboam. Rehoboam was born to King Solomon and Naamah. Solomon was the 2nd son born to King David and Bathsheba. David was the 2nd king to reign over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. Solomon was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam was the 4th king to reign over all of the Israelites in the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to  Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Manasseh was the 13th king to rule Judah. The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God would not pardon the shedding of innocent blood caused by Manasseh throughout Jerusalem. Manasseh's great-grandson Jehoiakim (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. During the reign of Jehoiakim's son King Jehoiachin, the 18th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites to Babylon. Daniel was among the Israelite  (Hebrews/Jews) captives in Babylon who received a Babylonian education in preparation for working for the king of Babylon. Daniel saved lives in Babylon by explaining the meaning of the dream that was troubling Nebuchadnezzar, and giving the dream's meaning and interpretation to him. Nebuchadnezzar made Daniel a ruler over the province of Babylon, placed Daniel in charge of the wise men and gave Daniel gifts. Sometime thereafter, King Belshazzar ruled Babylon. During a great feast, fingers appeared and wrote on the wall. None of the men summoned by Belshazzar could read the writing or give Belshazzar its meaning. The queen told Belshazzar to summon Daniel. After Daniel successfully interpreted the inscription and its meaning, the king rewarded Daniel with clothing, a chain, and the position as the 3rd most important ruler in the land. During the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born.
