Saying Nothing

And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's. And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.-Luke 20:19-26***The chief priests and scribes were Israelites, descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). At least 30 years before the chief priests and scribes heard Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, teaching, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. The chief priests and scribes knew every commandment, judgment, statute, and law that the Lord God gave for the Israelites, and knew that Jesus had neither studied with them nor been authorized by them to teach the commandments, judgments, statutes, and laws to the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Moreover, the chief priests and scribes did not believe Jesus to be the Christ.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Leviticus 1:1-27:34, Numbers 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, 1 John 4:1-21, 2 John 1:1-13
