Which One

Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover. Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.-Matthew 26:17-25***The Lord God gave Moses and Moses' older brother Aaron the commands for the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread while the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. The Lord God told Moses that he was going to bring a final plague, the plague of death, upon every firstborn belonging to the Egyptians. The households of the Israelites would be passed over, identified by the blood of the lamb or goat put on the side posts and upper doorposts of their homes wherein the slain animals were eaten. The year after Moses and Aaron led their fellow Israelites away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur, the Israelites kept the Passover in the desert wilderness of Sinai, according to the command of the Lord God. During the 40th year of their journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Aaron died and was buried upon Mount Hor, and Moses went upon Mount Nebo. The Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and Moses died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham (Abram the Hebrew), and to Abraham's son Isaac, and to Isaac's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), and to their descendants. Joshua circumcised the males who had not been circumcised during the journey, and the Israelites kept the Passover. Over 400 years after Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Rehoboam, the grandson of King David and Bathsheba, became the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Rehoboam's father King Solomon. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam was the 1st king to reign. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Rehoboam's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson Hezekiah was the 12th king to rule Judah. While reigning, Hezekiah invited all of the Israelites throughout Judah and the northern nation of Israel to an enormous Passover commemoration. Hezekiah's great-grandson Josiah was the 15th king to rule Judah. While reigning, Josiah told the priests to prepare everyone and everything in Judah for the Passover, and during the 18th year of Josiah's reign this specific Passover was kept. Over 500 years after Josiah's son Zedekiah (Mattaniah) became the 19th and last king to rule Judah, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah, the birth tribe of David and his descendants, all of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus, and the Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites.
