Water, Water, Right Over Here

And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch: and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.-Acts 8:26-40***Sarah (Sarai) was the wife of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew). Hagar was Sarah's maidservant. After Abraham was intimate with Hagar, and  became pregnant, the interaction between Hagar and Sarah was horrible, and Hagar ran away. The angel of the Lord questioned Hagar and told Hagar to return to Sarah. Months thereafter, Ishmael was born to 86-year-old Abraham and Hagar. Isaac was born to 100-year-old Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he was married to Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. Fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to 60-year-old Isaac and Rebekah. In Padan Aram, Haran, Jacob was married to Leah  and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian (Aramean). Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and Bilhah, Rachel's maidservant. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and Rachel. During Jacob's 20th year in Haran, he began journeying home to Canaan with his family, servants, animals, and possessions. Near Bethlehem, Benjamin was born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died. Joseph was at least 17 years old when his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt and led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by a wild beast. Joseph was 30 years old when Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, proclaimed him second-in-command. When Jacob was 130 years old, he moved with his family from Canaan to Egypt. In Egypt, Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons born to Joseph and his wife Asenath, to be his own sons. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, and Jacob's family buried his body in Canaan, and 110-year-old Joseph and his siblings were dead, their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Miriam and her younger brothers Aaron and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. The Moabites descended from Abraham and Sarah's nephew Lot and Lot's oldest daughter and their son Moab. Balak was a Moabite king, and he wanted Balaam, a soothsayer, to curse the Israelites. When Balaam was on his donkey traveling to meet with Balak, the angel of the Lord interrupted Balaam's journey, questioned Balaam, told Balaam to continue with the journey, and gave Balaam specific speaking instructions. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, became the 1st king to rule over the Israelites. David, from the tribe of Judah, was the 2nd king to rule over all of the Israelites. Solomon, the 2nd child born to David and Bathsheba, was the 3rd king to reign. Rehoboam, the son born to Solomon and Naamah, was the 4th king to rule over all of the Israelites. After Rehoboam gave a specific answer, the Israelites split into 2 kingdoms, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of Solomon. Judah was the nation in the south, Jerusalem was the royal city and Rehoboam was the 1st king to reign. Israel was the northern nation, Samaria was the final royal city and Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to reign. King Ahab was the 7th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. Jezebel was Ahab's wife. Ahab and Jezebel's son Ahaziah was the 8th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During his 2-year reign, Ahaziah sent an envoy to seek an answer from a Philistine idol. Meanwhile, the angel of the Lord sent Elijah the prophet to speak to Ahaziah's envoy, and they returned to Ahaziah and relayed the message. Ahaziah sent another group, and Elijah caused their fiery deaths, and Ahaziah sent another group, and Elijah caused their fiery deaths. The captain of the 3rd group spoke entreatingly to Elijah, and the angel of the Lord told Elijah to go with the captain. Over 800 years after Ahab and Jezebel's son Jehoram (Joram) became the 9th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel, and Elijah went up into heaven by a whirlwind, the angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and spoke to him. Before Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, the Lord God sent the angel Gabriel to speak to Mary. After Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb when Mary was a virgin,  an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and spoke to him. Joseph was the craftsman pledged to wed Mary. Months after John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth), Jesus the Christ was born into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. King Herod the Great, ruler of Judea for the Roman Empire, wanted to kill Jesus. An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and told Joseph to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt. After Herod's death, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and told Joseph to return to their homeland with Jesus and Mary. After Joseph received another divine warning, Joseph, Mary and Jesus lived in Nazareth, Joseph and Mary's hometown in Galilee. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven. Sometime thereafter, the apostles of the Lord Jesus were imprisoned by the high priest, with the Sadducees in agreement with the high priest. An angel of the Lord led the apostles out of the prison and told the apostles to go to the temple and speak.
