A command and message the Lord God
gave Ezekiel the priest and prophet:
And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field. Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.-Ezekiel 39:17-29***Jeroboam, the son born to Nebat and Zeruah, was the 1st king to rule the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land. King Pekah was the 18th king to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel. During Pekah's 20-year reign, the Assyrians invaded the kingdom and King Tiglath-pileser, ruler of Assyria, began taking Israelites to Assyria. During the 9th year of the reign of King Hoshea, the 19th king to rule the northern nation, the Assyrians conquered the royal city, Samaria, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Less than 125 years after Samaria was conquered, Jehoiakim (Eliakim), the son born to King Josiah and Zebudah, became the 17th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem, the royal city, and King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother King Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 600 years before the kingdoms were conquered, Joshua, from the tribe of Ephraim, led his fellow Israelites, the descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel), across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land. Reuben was the 1st son born to Jacob and his 1st wife Leah. Gad was the 1st son born to Jacob and Zilpah, Leah's maidservant. Manasseh was the grandson of Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel. However, Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and his younger brother Ephraim to be his own sons. Before the Israelites crossed the Jordan River, the Israelites in the tribe of Reuben, and the tribe of Gad, and 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh asked Moses the prophet and the other leaders for permission to live on the same side of the Jordan River that the Israelites had wandered through for 40 years. The Israelites had fought and killed King Og, ruler of Bashan, according to the will of the Lord God. Bashan was a kingdom renown for its pastureland and gigantic inhabitants. After speaking with the Gadites and Reubenites regarding their responsibilities, and after hearing the response of the Gadites and Reubenites, Moses agreed to their request, and gave Bashan to 1/2 of the Israelites in the tribe of Manasseh after they joined the request of the Gadites and Reubenites. Thus, the tribe of Gad and the tribe of Reuben and 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh built structures for their families and animals before helping the other Israelites defeat the idol worshiping inhabitants in Canaan, the Promised Land. Ezekiel was a priest and a prophet of the Lord God, and was among the Israelites taken captive by the Babylonians. While in Babylon, Ezekiel received visions and messages from the Lord God and spoke as commanded by the Lord God. Over 500 years after Israelites began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Before Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, and after Jesus was betrayed, arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven less than 33 1/2 years after he was born, the Roman Empire was ruling the land whereupon the kingdoms of the Israelites previously stood.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 20:1-35:13, Deuteronomy 31:1-34:12, Joshua, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 5:1-26, 7:20-29, 19:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Ezekiel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
