...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Understand, Man

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.-Luke 13:10-17***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God blessed and made holy the 7th day. On the 1st day, the Lord God said for there to be light and the Lord God divided light from darkness and gave each its name. On the 2nd day, the Lord God said for a firmament, an expanse, to be amid the waters, and the Lord God made the firmament, divided the waters, and named the firmament. On the 3rd day, the Lord God said for the waters beneath the firmament to be gathered and dry land appear, and the Lord God gave names to both, and said for the earth to sprout reproductive vegetation. On the 4th day, the Lord God said for lights to be in the firmament. The Lord God made 2 great lights, and the stars, and set them in place in the firmament. On the 5th day, the Lord God said for the waters to swarm with reproductive creatures and also flying creatures across the sky, and the Lord God created them and blessed them with commands. On the 6th day, the Lord God said for the earth to bring forth reproductive creatures, and the Lord God made reproductive creatures, and the Lord God spoke of man, and the Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and the Lord God blessed Adam and gave Adam commands. By the 7th day, the Lord God was finished his work of creating and making; the Lord God blessed the 7th day and set it apart as holy. The Israelites descended from Adam and his wife Eve, the mother of all living, the woman whom the Lord God made after taking a part out of Adam. Adam and Eve's son Seth was the great-great-great-grandfather of Enoch. Enoch's great-grandson was Noah the ark builder. Shem was born to Noah. Shem's son Arphaxad was the great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of Terah. Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai) were born to Terah. Abraham and Sarah's son Isaac married Rebekah. Jacob (Israel) was the youngest fraternal twin son born to Isaac and Rebekah. The command to rest on the Sabbath day was the 4th of the Ten Commandments that the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim to them months after Moses and Moses' older brother Aaron  led the Israelites away from Egyptian slavery. Shortly thereafter, the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes, and laws for the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. When Moses was on Mount Sinai with the Lord God for 40 days and nights, the Lord God gave Moses more laws for the Israelites regarding the Sabbath day. Over 1,400 years after Joshua, Moses' successor, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after Jesus was born to Joseph and Mary, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by Mary's relative John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world. In GalileeJesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites.-Genesis, Exodus, Numbers 15:32-36, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 4:1-5:33, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26
