...................................................................LET US LEARN TOGETHER WHAT IS GOOD. Job 34:4b(NIV)................................................................Some people see the Bible as a long and boring book filled with incidents and events from the lives of ancient people who probably never existed. The biblical stories are seen as fables. Romans 15:4 (KJV) reveals: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. In this blog, many of the situations and conversations found in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible have been placed in categories that correspond to expressive sayings and phrases. Reference information, background information and links connecting the people and places are given to help you find a place to begin reading the Bible for yourself.

Questions in Succession

A message the Lord God
revealed to Micah the prophet

Hear ye not what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD's controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel. O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me. For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD. Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
-Micah 6:1-8***The Lord God gave Micah the prophet a message of warning, promise, and reasoning to proclaim to the Israelites, the descendants of Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that Abraham and some of Abraham's descendants who lived before Micah was born spoke to the Lord God when they presented the Lord God with reasons against taking destructive action. Abraham reasoned with the Lord God about the destruction of any righteous people living in Sodom.  Moses and Moses' older brother Aaron reasoned with the Lord God about the possible destruction of the Israelites after a group of Israelites led by Korah, Dathan and Abiram, rebelled against Moses, Aaron and the Lord God.
King Jotham was the 10th king to rule Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Jotham's son Ahaz was the 11th king. Hezekiah, the son born to Ahaz and Abi (Abijah) was the 12th king to rule Judah. When Jotham, Ahaz and Hezkiah reigned, Micah proclaimed the words of the Lord God to the Israelites. King Hoshea, the 19th to rule over all of the Israelites in the northern nation of Israel in the Promised Land, was in the 3rd year of his reign when Hezekiah began to rule Judah. During the 9th year of Hoshea's reign, the Assyrians conquered Samaria, the royal city, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites.  After the Assyrians entered Judah and presented Hezekiah with threatening messages about their might and their perceptions of the Lord God, Hezekiah prayed to the Lord God and reasoned with the Lord God. Hezekiah's great-great-great-grandson Jehoiakim  (Eliakim) was the 17th king to rule Judah. During Jehoiakim's 11-year reign, the Babylonians (Chaldeans) invaded Judah and Jerusalem, the royal city, and King Nebuchadnezzar, rule of Babylon, began looting the temple of the Lord. Jehoiachin (Jeconiah/Coniah), the son born to Jehoiakim and Nehushta, was the 18th king. During Jehoiachin's 3-month reign, the Babylonians took more prominent Israelites, including Jehoiachin, his wives and mother, to Babylon. During the 11th year of the reign of Jehoiakim's brother Zedekiah (Mattaniah), the 19th king to rule Judah, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, according to the will of the Lord God, due to the idolatry and other wickedness of the Israelites. Over 500 years after Israelties began returning to Judah and Jerusalem, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob's 4th born son Judah, the tribe of Judah's kings, to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 11:1-16:50, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 1:1-46, 9:1-29, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 1:1-21:18, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-33:20, Isaiah 36:1-39:8, Micah, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Grateful Living

Psalm 30

I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth  but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.-Psalm 30:1-12/the complete psalm***Isaiah the prophet was an Israelite descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, and Isaac and Rebekah's youngest fraternal twin son Jacob (Israel). Over 1,000 years before Isaiah began proclaiming the words of the Lord God to the Israelites, and called for the rulers in Judah, the southern nation in the Promised Land, to come and reason with the Lord God, Abraham reasoned with the Lord God about the possible destruction of righteous people in Sodom, Gomorrah and the surrounding region. Aaron and his younger  brother Moses were Israelites from the tribe of Levi, descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egyptian slavery, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. In the desert wilderness of Sinai, in the region of Mount Sinai, the Israelites heard the voice of the Lord God proclaim the Ten Commandments to them, and the Lord God began giving Moses judgments, statutes and laws for the Israelites, and the Lord God made a covenant with the Israelites, and the Israelites said they would obey the words of the Lord God. When Moses was upon Mount Sinai 40 days and nights with the Lord God, the Lord God described to Moses and showed Moses the likeness of the tabernacle, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the other sacred items that the Israelites were to make, and the Lord God gave Moses 2 stone tablets whereupon were written, with the finger of God, the Ten Commandments. Meanwhile, the Israelites thought they were abandoned and told Aaron to make gods to lead them. Aaron told the Israelites to bring him their gold earrings and he made a golden calf that the Israelites worshiped and Moses burned and ground. The Lord God wanted to destroy the Israelites and make a great nation of Moses. Moses reasoned with the Lord God and reminded the Lord God about the promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. At least 1 year later, 10 of the 12 spies Moses sent on a mission to Canaan, the Promised Land, returned with a frightening report. The Israelites wanted to return to Egypt. The Lord God wanted to destroy the Israelites and make a nation of Moses, and Moses reasoned with the Lord God and reminded the Lord God about the thoughts the Egyptians and people in other nations would have if the Israelites were destroyed. Sometime thereafter, Korah and the Israelites with him rebelled. The Lord God wanted to destroy the Israelites, and Moses and Aaron reasoned with the Lord God and mentioned the injustice of destroying all of the Israelites due to the actions of some of the Israelites. Samuel the priest, prophet and judge was from the tribe of Levi, and David was from the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah. Over a decade after David was born, the Lord God sent Samuel to Bethlehem to anoint David to reign as king. David was 30 years old when he began to reign only over the tribe of Judah, and David was 37 1/2 years old when he began to rule over all of the Israelites in the Promised Land, the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac and to Jacob, and their descendants. In psalms that David was divinely inspired to write, David described praising and worshiping the Lord God and reasoning with the Lord God. At least 950 years after Solomon, a son born to David and Bathsheba, became the 3rd king to rule over all of the Israelites, and 70-year-old David died, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (dElisabeth). Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Approximately 30 years after John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born, Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Jesus having prayed, the heavens tearing open, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove and lit upon Jesus. The Lord God in heaven audibly acknowledged his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert wilderness. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and was tempted. Afterwards, Jesus was tended to by angels, and Jesus went to the area near John the Baptist, and John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to be the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and testified that Jesus is the Son of God. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites. Jesus spoke of Isaiah and the prophecies Isaiah revealed, and Jesus read in a synagogue some of the words Isaiah was divinely inspired to transcribe.-Genesis 11:26-50:26, Exodus, Numbers 10:1-16:50, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 1:1-46, 9:1-10:22, 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 23:1-24:33, Judges 1:1-2:23, 1 Samuel 1:1-3:21, 8:1-31:13, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1:1-11:43, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 10:1-29:30, 2 Chronicles 1:1-9:31, Psalm 6, Isaiah 1:1-31, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26

Job Description

From a letter written by the apostle Paul
to believers in Ephesus and everywhere:

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
-Ephesians 3:1-12***Approximately 1,900 years after Benjamin was born near Bethlehem to Jacob (Israel) and his 2nd wife Rachel, and Rachel died, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth), Israelites descended from Jacob and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 3rd born son Levi. Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested,  crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven. Sometime thereafter, trouble arose that involved Greek speaking Israelites and Hebrew speaking Israelites and the treatment of widows. Matthias and the 11 disciples and apostles who had walked with Jesus before Jesus was betrayed  suggested that 7 wise men, full of the Holy Spirit, be chosen to handle the issue. Stephen was 1 of the 7 men selected. Lies were spread about Stephen, and Stephen was forcefully taken and made to give an answer to the high priest and the Sanhedrin, the high court of the Israelites (Hebrews/Jews). Stephen spoke about the history of the Israelites, and the Israelites and their responsibility for the death of some prophets and the crucifixion of Jesus. Stephen was dragged out of Jerusalem, pelted with stones and died. Paul (Saul) was an Israelite and a Pharisee from the tribe of Benjamin and did not believe Jesus to be the Christ. While Stephen was being pelted to death, Paul guarded the garments of the assailants. Shortly thereafter, Paul began persecuting and imprisoning Israelites throughout Jerusalem who believed Jesus to be the Christ of God, and Paul requested and received permission and letters from the high priest to journey to the synagogues in Damascus, Syria, to find, bind and bring to Jerusalem any Israelite believers he found. Near Damascus, Paul and those with him saw a light from heaven flash around them. Paul heard the voice of Jesus speaking to him, and Paul spoke to Jesus, and obeyed Jesus. In Damascus, Paul was baptized. From thenceforward, Paul the apostle journeyed and wrote divinely inspired letters, teaching the good news of Jesus the Christ and everlasting life. After an incident in Antioch, Pisidia, Paul and Barnabas proclaimed that they were taking the word of the Lord to the Gentiles, people not born into the Israelite tribes.-Genesis 11:26-35:29, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 8:1-40, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians,  Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon

Some Explaining

The Words of
Jesus the Christ,
the Son of God:

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.-Matthew 25:31-46***The divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God established the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and prepared a kingdom for the righteous in the beginning, and since the beginning there are some revelations that the Lord God has kept hidden and have not made known, and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, the Word, was with his Father in the beginning. On the 6th day in the beginning, the Lord God created Adam, the 1st man. The Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and the Lord God made Adam's wife Eve, the mother of all living, after taking a part out of Adam. Seth was born to 130-year-old Adam and Eve. Seth's great-great-great-grandson Enoch was the great-grandfather of Noah the ark builder. Shem was born to Noah, and Arphaxad was born to Shem. Arphaxad was the great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of Terah. Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai) were born to Terah. Isaac was born to 100-year-old Abraham and 90-year-old Sarah. When Isaac was 40 years old, he was married to Rebekah, Abraham and Sarah's grandniece. Fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to 60-year-old Isaac and Rebekah. In Padan Aram, Jacob was married to Leah and Rachel, the daughters of Rebekah's brother Laban the Syrian (Aramean). Levi was the 3rd son born to Jacob and Leah, and Judah was Jacob and Leah's 4th born son. Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and Rachel. Approximately 1,900 years after Benjamin was born near Bethlehem to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died, Jesus the Christ and John the Baptist were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth). Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Yet and Still

From the Epistle to the Hebrews,
in the New Testament of the Holy Bible:

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God; let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.-Hebrews 4:12-16***Melchizedek (Melchisedec) is the 1st priest mentioned by title in the divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible (KJV). A genealogical lineage of Melchizedek is not revealed in any of the Scriptures. Melchizedek lived before Isaac was born to 100-year-old Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and his 90-year-old wife Sarah (Sarai), and fraternal twin sons Esau (Edom) and Jacob (Israel) were born to 60-year-old Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and before sons were born to Jacob, his wives and maidservants. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and daughter Dinah were born to Jacob and his 1st wife Leah. Dan and Naphtali were born to Jacob and maidservant Bilhah. Gad and Asher were born to Jacob and maidservant Zilpah, and Joseph was the 1st son born to Jacob and his 2nd wife Rachel. Near Bethlehem, Benjamin was born to Jacob and Rachel, and Rachel died. Joseph was 17 years old when his brothers sold him to merchants traveling to Egypt and led Jacob to believe that Joseph was killed by a wild beast, and he was 30 years old when Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, proclaimed him second-in-command. Jacob was 130 years old when he moved with his family from Canaan to Egypt. In Egypt, Jacob proclaimed Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons born to Joseph and his wife Asenath, to be his own sons, and the tribe of Joseph became the tribe of Manasseh and the tribe of Ephraim. Sometime after 147-year-old Jacob died in Egypt, and Jacob's family buried his body in Canaan, and 110-year-old Joseph and his siblings were dead, their descendants the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt. Aaron and his siblings Miriam and Moses were born into the tribe of Levi. When Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83, the Lord God sent them to speak to the Israelite elders and Pharaoh. After the Lord God brought the 10th and final plague upon Pharaoh and Egypt, Moses and Aaron led the Israelites, and those with them, away from Egypt, across the divinely parted Red Sea, and into the desert wilderness of Shur. When Moses was upon Mount Sinai 40 days and nights with the Lord God, the Lord God commanded Moses to consecrate and sanctify Aaron and Aaron's sons, and told Moses that only Aaron and Aaron's sons and the sons born to their descendants were to serve the Lord God as priests. Aaron was the 1st high priest in the new Levitical priesthood. During the 40-year journey to Canaan, the Promised Land, Miriam the prophetess died and was buried in Kadesh, in the desert wilderness of Zin. Upon Mount Hor, 123-year-old Aaron the high priest died. When Moses went upon Mount Nebo, the Lord God showed Moses the Promised Land, and 120-year-old Moses the prophet died, and was divinely buried. Joshua, Moses' aide and successor from the tribe of Ephraim, led the Israelites across the divinely parted Jordan River and onto the land that the Lord God promised to give to Abraham, and Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants. Over 1,300 years after 110-year-old Joshua died, and was buried in his tribe's portion of the Promised Land, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, was born. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem into the tribe of Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. Jesus, the Christ, the Word, was with his Father the Lord God in the beginning and from the beginning and in him everything came into being. Jesus is the apostle and high priest of our confession and more revelations about Jesus are revealed in the Epistle to the Hebrews in the Holy Bible.-Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus 8:1-9:24, Numbers 3:1-4:49, 20:1-29, 27:12-23, Deuteronomy 31:1-30, 32:44-52, 34:1-12, Joshua 1:1-4:24, 1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, 6:1-81, 7:20-29, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-26, Colossians 1:1-29, Hebrews 2:1-10:39, 1 John 1:1-10

Big-Time Plans

Psalm 2

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.-Psalm 2:1-12/the complete psalm***The divinely inspired  Scriptures of the Holy Bible reveal that the Lord God sits upon his everlasting throne of his holiness in heaven, a throne founded upon righteousness and judgment, a throne in the midst of a mass of heavy clouds. Centuries after the psalmists and prophets proclaimed and transcribed the revelations they received from the Lord God to the Israelites, John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, were born. John the Baptist was born into the tribe of Levi to Zechariah (Zacharias) the priest and his wife Elizabeth (Elisabeth), Israelites descended from Abraham (Abram the Hebrew) and Sarah (Sarai), Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob (Israel) and his 1st wife Leah, and Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Levi. Jesus the Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth's relative  Mary, a virgin, and Jesus was born into the tribe of Jacob and Leah's 4th born son Judah to Mary and her husband Joseph when Mary was a virgin. In Galilee, Jesus told specific Israelite men to follow him, and Jesus began to preach, teach and perform miracles among the Israelites, the treasured and chosen people of the Lord God. Less than 3 1/2 years after Jesus was baptized, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot the disciple and apostle, and Jesus was arrested, crucified, buried in a tomb, resurrected, seen by over 500 people, and returned to heaven, and is seated to the right of his Father in heaven.-Genesis 1:1-4:26,1 Chronicles 1:1-34, 2:1-17, 3:1-24, Job 1:1-22, 26:1-14, Psalm 9, Psalm 11, Psalm 45, Psalm 47, Psalm 89, Psalm 93, Psalm 97, Psalm 103, Psalm 110, Lamentations 5:1-22, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 1:1-8:4, Hebrews 1:1-14, 4:1-16, 8:1-13, 10:1-39, 12:1-29, Revelation 3:1-22
